This dream happened a couple of years ago. I missed mentioning the date in the book of my dream collection. So not sure on which day this happened exactly. However let's dig into the important part, which is the actual dream.
It was in the evening I decided to go to sleep early than usual. I went to bed wearing my earphones on. Usually, I don't prefer o sleep wearing the earphone because I fall asleep in between and the music plays throughout the night until I wake up. So my intention was to listen to a few songs on the bed before I sleep. And I was particular about removing the earphones before I fall asleep.
I continued listening to the songs on the bed. But after some time I didn't feel like sleeping. I get up from the bed, removed the headphones, and walked towards the house front. Then I realized that it was so early for me to go to bed. It's still the evening. I stepped out to the house yard and immediately noticed a strange thing. The road in front of my house has a railway track on it. I was curious and wanted to find out more about how this happened.
I went near the track and found that the track is stretching all the way how the road. I have never seen a railway going like a normal road with ups, downs, and too many curves. I walked a little through the track to check if it is really throughout the road or not.
I kept on walking and found that the railway track is all over the road. I tried revising my memory about when these developments happened. Couldn't remember anything about the work that took place for this railway, that too just in front of my house. I continued walking through the track with so many unanswered questions and extreme curiosity.
I walked a while now. There are houses near the road. Everything is just normal except the track. However, I couldn't see anybody there. Usually, we can find many people who are living in that area. But now I don't see anybody there. I carefully continued my walk looking at every corner for anybody to ask about this strange thing. Suddenly I heard a train horn. I never expected a train on that small road on a strange track. But the honking made me stop and look back. My view was blocked by a curve a bit far and I waited to look there. A couple of seconds later, I have seen it. Yes, it's coming. The train is real. A gigantic train is coming through the track where you will never expect such a thing to happen.
I was excited to see the train in the street I grew up. But at the same time, I was stunned by the world around me. The train was running fast and approaching me. I stood next to the track to let it pass. It reached near me and gradually reduced its speed and stopped just in front of me. I felt it like a signal for me to get in. I was doubtful about going in but my curiosity didn't let me stand there. I slowly got on the train and started walking inside. Suddenly the train started moving down the track. It was full dark inside the train all I could see was a little light coming through a window far away from me. I walked aiming for that light.
I walked a lot to reach that light. But again it appears to be at the same distance. I was fully tired of walking a lot and felt like taking some rest. As the train was running at its full speed, I at times lost my balance. I started searching for a seat with my hand assuming that it was a passenger train. After a while, I figured out that it was a passenger train as I could find an empty seat. I sat there hoping that there is nobody sitting next to me. It was a scary situation of being doubtful about someone being next to you in the dark.
For a moment I regret getting on that train. I somehow wanted to get out of it. "What happened?" suddenly I heard a sound. That was a male voice. So many thoughts revolved in my mind. I realized that I am not alone on the train. I wanted to run away from there, but couldn't attempt it as I could see nothing in the dark. That sound repeated, "What happened?"
"Nothing, I am just scared to be here". I responded.
"Why are you scared to be here? It's just a normal train. You haven't been on a train before?" That invisible man asked me.
I said, "Yes I have been to. But this train is very unusual. It is full of dark and I don't see any other passengers. Also, I have no clue where I am going!"
The invisible man responded, "Ha ha ha, Why did you get on the train if you don't know where it is going? Moreover, this train is absolutely normal. This is how all the trains here"
I didn't have an answer to his first question and I was stunned by his statement that this is how all the trains are here. Since there was no response from me, he again started talking to me.
He said, "Don't worry, everything is strange to you because you are sleeping. This is not the real world for you. Wake up everything will be back to normal".
I was confused by it. Am I sleeping? I am right here on the train and he is saying I am sleeping. I couldn't digest it. In my mind, I opposed his statement saying I am awake in this darkness. Everything is abnormal to me not because I am sleeping. It's all because it is dark and I am going to be in darkness forever.
But it didn't last for long. Suddenly the light came from nowhere. The entire train is shining with light now. Somebody said, "that was a long tunnel". I looked there and saw my entire family and close relatives. All were happy and having chitchat. I was wondering who was talking to me so far. I didn't feel like it was someone from them, still, I kept on looking for him.
One of my second cousins approached me and asked "where were you? We were looking for you everywhere". I said in my mind, "what's going on? So till the time, I was here, but these guys were not. Now she is saying that she was looking for me everywhere. Where were these guys till now?" Again all the moments got filled with unanswered questions. I looked around. All of them are my dear and near ones. All of them appeared to be traveling to a specific destination and for a specific purpose. My inferiority complex didn't let me ask them where we are going.
The girl was looking at me and waiting for an answer from me. I didn't have an answer for her. I tried distracting her looking here and there. But she stood there waiting for an answer. Everything was normal except for this girl's eyes. They were concentrating on me. I could see them changing their color and I couldn't tolerate the energy emitting from them. Felt like the train got into its full speed. It was literally flying. Again I felt that everything is going back to an abnormal mode. The images around me started changing their color appearance and everything. People around me started disappearing one by one. And again the entire train got dipped into darkness. I wanted to run away, but couldn't do so as it was full dark.
A couple of seconds later I felt that darkness kind of normal as I experienced it before. I even expected that invisible man's voice. I was waiting for it to come. But couldn't hear anything. After a while, I got the courage to ask "Where are you?"
I got no reply. But same time I got a feeling that I had disturbed somebody with my voice. Felt like strange things are happening in the dark. I couldn't sit there anymore. I stood up and started running. Felt like many people chasing me. I continued running with my full energy. Since I could run that fast with no obstacles I realized that it was not a train anymore. I am somewhere else.
It was full dark. Still felt that many of them are chasing me. Even though I am sure that I am not on a train, I could listen to the train sound. I was totally clueless about what is happening. After a bit of running, my foot sound and the train sound became in sync and it started creating a rhythm. And the earphone in my ear, well I realized that I am wearing a pair of earphones, started adding a melody to the rhythm. Together they formed a song.

Suddenly I woke up with a heavy song playing on my earphone. It was the seventh song in the playlist since I went to sleep. I realized that everything was a dream, but still, I ran out to the house to check the railway track out of curiosity. But the next moment again realized that I am right now in a city in a different state which is very far from my hometown.
